Save energy and contribute to . . . Eco-Centre municipal and Ayer's Cliff Athletic Association

Thanks to Hydro Québec's new ENERGY WISE Home Diagnostic campaign, you can help two great causes in one single act: save energy and contribute to a project for the benefit of everyone in our community.

Upon completion of the ENERGY WISE Home Diagnostic questionnaire analyzing your household and appliances energy consumption, you will receive a free personalized recommendation report containing concrete measures to reduce your energy consumption.

This new regional and community-oriented six-month campaign will be launched in Estrie in April and will run until October.

How to participate
As part of this new campaign, for each report issued, Hydro-Québec will award $5,25 to the Ayer's Cliff Athletic Association and $35 to the community if the questionnaire was completed online, and $30 if the citizen chose to fill out the paper version. The amount provided for our project will be based on the number of recommendation reports issued by Hydro-Québec to participating citizens.

In Ayer's Cliff, we hope to persuade at least one third of eligible customers to participate. The municipal council has decided to use the amount collected for Eco-Centre municipal.

All eligible Hydro-Québec customers will be receiving their questionnaires in the mail shortly. It is more advantageous, however, to fill out the questionnaire online at www.wegowitheflow.com: not only is the amount contributed for each report higher ($35+$5,25), but each participant will triple his chances of winning the ENERGY WISE contest grand prize: a Toyota Prius Hybrid. If you have already completed your Home Diagnostic questionnaire, you can still contribute to the campaign by encouraging friends, family or neighbors to do it as well-for themselves, for the community and for the environment.

*To be eligible, Hydro-Québec residential customers must have had an electrical service contract at their current address for at least 12 months and have not already completed the Home Diagnostic for that same address.
