Sports and Culture

Ayer's Cliff offers young and older citizens sports facilities like a skating rink, a ball park and a soccer park. Agreements have been made to use the gymnasium and the bowling alley.

Each year, the Athletic Association organizes hockey, base-ball, and soccer leagues, for more than two hundred youngsters of the municipality and surrounding area. Some children play hockey in leagues in the Coaticook arena.

The Tomifobia Nature Trail has facilities for hundreds of bicycle lovers, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hikers and walkers.
St-Barthelemy elementary school, offers many different activities like Yoga, Karate, dance, and aerobics and different workshops like quilting, knitting, handloom weaving and sculpture.

 

The Library also offers an impressive French and English novel collection, story-telling and story-making for children. Three computers with high speed Internet are available for Library users.

 

Golden Age Club and the "Cercle des fermières", propose a range of activities and different trips. There's something for everyone.

Policy with regard to donations and sponsoring
The present policy with regard to donations and sponsoring is to be used as a tool for decision making for the members of council for the Municipality of the Village of Ayer's Cliff when solicited for financial or technical support from various local organizations. Download
